Essential Crafting Tools

We recently compiled a list of Crafting Essentials: our favorite tools that make projects easier and more professional…the tools we think everyone who loves doing creative things should have. Now we want you to tell us why these products are a must-have for you – tell us how you use any of our crafting essentials and we might share your story on our blog!

To Participate:
Review our Crafting Essentials and draft a blog post that describes how you use any of these products to Do Something Creative Every Day. Feel free to mention other complimentary PS products and include personal photographs to help tell the story of your staple product(s). Also, be sure to tell us your favorite PS product and your two favorite PS colors – just like we include in our blog signatures.

Submit Your Entry:
Email your blog post, photos, etc. to PSFan (AT) Paper-Source (DOT) com by Friday, July 9. We’ll select a guest blogger to be featured in a blog post the following Monday!

While you are welcome to pull inspiration from existing content (and images) we are requesting original drafts, something that has not been published yet. We want to assure our customers are receiving new ideas and fresh perspectives, as they have come to expect this from the Paper Source Blog, even with so many PS associates sharing ideas on their personal blogs.

@Ana Your style certainly compliments our editorial interests, so we are excited to read your take on the products featured here: http://www.papersource.com/new/craft-supplies.html

Drafts can be submitted via email text or in word attachments. Send to PSFan (AT) Paper-Source (DOT) com.

Hi! So excited for this! I was wondering if you’d like the blog to mention how to use the craft tool (like if you did the embossing heating tool, how to use it?) or to keep it to just what I make with it?
    Thanks!

  6. Paper Source says:

@Lauren Great question. Either approach could work.

We’re evaluating submissions based on how you can Do Something Creative Every Day with one of these crafting essentials. You can tell us why it is essential to you OR show how the product’s versatility makes it essential.

As we do with our own posts, just look for opportunities to give a fresh perspective. Tell us an untold story or show us something truly inventive.

  7. Lauren says:

    Great, thanks so much!

Thanks for the encouragement! I’ll be sure to draft a special blog post by Friday. ๐Ÿ™‚ In the meantime, check out my latest project: http://www.hungrycook.com/2010/07/08/365/.
