I’m addicted to Paper Source. Using your products for everything in our upcoming October wedding. My favorite was the April “Addressed to impress”. Gave me the idea of an address stamp for all the Save the dates, RSVP’s and invites. Then it lead to an logo for the wedding. Wasn’t sure how it would look, so went to the closest store in Annapolis, and the staff was wonderful explaining all the options. Thanks for all the ideas!

I am a first-time Daisy Girl Scout leader. Last March, I was looking for DIY party hat ideas for our Kindergarten-aged troop to make for an upcoming Alice in Wonderland-themed Girl Scout tea party. When I came across the “Crazy for Daisies” PS blog post from February 2011 – I sparked the big idea.

We used the new PS Clover 80# text paper, one PS Daisy Flower Kit, headbands, green ribbon and green feathers to make the coolest Daisy flower headbands ever! The craft was simple for the girls to make in 30 minutes, and they (both girls and adults) were proud to wear them to the event.

Thanks Paper Source for the great ideas!

  24. Athena says:

I loved your post on DIY wedding programs. I made awesome wedding programs for my own wedding with your help.

  30. The February 13, 2011 PS Blog post “Building a Baby Shower Album” helped me do something creative every day for the following 3 months after the post. This post really helped me to design a fabulous and truly memorable baby shower album for my older sister Teki for her birthday this past May.

This was really important to our whole family because we lost our mom to cancer last year a while after my precious baby nephew was born, my mom had always wanted a grandchild and she was blessed to be able to hold her grandson before she passed. My sister looks at the album often and it always brings her cheerful memories of our mother. The PS Blog post about the baby shower album not only helped me be creative everyday but it was also like therapy for me. Each page I did really helped me to come to terms with the loss my family had and it also made me joyous to be alive and to enjoy my baby nephew PJ who is also the first baby since me. Thanks so much PS for providing me with more then just creativity, and have a wonderful and fabulous birthday.

PS: I’ve always loved your how to post, their super fun! And I love to visit the store often, lol.

    All the best,

    Lauren-Ashley

  32. Shelby says:

Confessions of a Wrapper is by far one of my favorite posts. I too love the act and beauty of a well done wrapping job. 36. Kristi says:

    Keem ’em coming, please!

  45. Susan says:

Loved “Confessions of a Wrapper” blog, I felt like we were in the same ‘gift wrap support group’. I select unique wrapping paper for every person on my list, wrapping each of their gifts in the same paper. It makes the holidays a breeze for the children, they identify their gifts based on giftwrap paper – if they aren’t old enough to read.

I buy unique gift wrap whenever I find it and store it in a small wardrober; which is full of ribbons, trims, gift paper & bags. I never want to be caught without a beautifully wrapped gift to give. Thanks PS for supporting my habit, I love your papers.

  49. Jill E. says:

Definitely “Confessions of a Wrapper.” As Susan mentioned in a previous comment, I think I need to be a part of the ‘gift wrap support group.’ I always plan a Christmas color scheme and make my own cards and wrap all the gifts in the same colors. Over the top, I know. Thanks for making it easy to be creative and for providing tons of inspiration! Happy Birthday!

The PS Blog is one of my very first go-tos when I’m looking for inspiration for invites, party favors and decorations or cool crafts my kids and I can do together. I think one of the most memorable posts for me was this one:

    https://blog.papersource.com/wedding/ps-real-weddings-laurel/

Laurel’s handmade casino wedding invites in a box mailer with dice and poker chips was a killer design in awesome packaging. While I didn’t go for a casino theme, this post did inspire me to design all my own wedding stationery, decorations and favors – using all Paper Source materials of course! It’s amazing how color and great ideas can really pull a theme together! Happy Birthday PS!

    Hi PaperSource blog!!
The most inspirational post was the one about Laura’s wedding with the 1000 paper cranes! When I worked at the Evanston store we would always show that customers. It really proves that with a little creativity and dedication you can create something truely unique and incredable!

My goddaughter recently graduated from high school and came to me to write her college sorority recommendation (yes, she pledged Chi Omega, like me, her mother, AND her grandmother). She lives in Atlanta and wrote thank you notes on the cutest most sophisticated stationery. I asked her Mom where she got such distinctive writing paper and she told me. I’ve been shopping on line sense discovering you all — and MUCH TO MY SURPRISE you are opening a store in Green Hills (Nashville, TN) just in time for my daughter to follow in her footsteps…WITH GREAT STATEMENT MAKING STATIONERY from Paper Source. I have a secret love affair with the PS Blog, and could really gush about so many, but I decided to narrow it down. To do that, I had to take a trip in the Wayback Machine to tell you about my favorite blog post. It is the “Sweet Treat Keepsake Box.” I encourage you to take a look at it:

    https://blog.papersource.com/how-to/how-to-sweet-treat-keepsake/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+PaperSourceBlog+%28Paper+Source+Blog%29&utm_content=Yahoo%21+Mail

It is the perfect way to wrap favors, and can be made in an endless number of color combinations. I love it!

    CONGRATULATIONS PAPER SOURCE!!!

I love love love your blog. You have the most FABULOUS ideas and I look at them for inspiration as well as instructions. From carving stamps and binding books, to party favors and invite ideas. You help us bring our parties and gifts personality and cohesiveness that many of us are unable to think of on our own and aren’t able to purchase at a store. Every time I read a blog, I make a trip to the store to make my purchase and make my own gift box, cute card, embossed name tags and banners.

Thank you PS Blog for all that you’ve given us, something creative to do everyday.

Happy Happy 2nd Birthday, and many more!!

  122. Kelly Moore says:

I don’t think it’s around anymore (I couldn’t find it) since it’s discontinued but all the info about Gocco on the blog really helped me decide to take the plunge and get one even though they aren’t being made anymore. I looooove my Gocco and using PS papers for making my own stationery with all the trimmings (inluding envelope linings).

Forced to choose one I could find currently up, it’d have to be the envelope making & lining templates post. I love the shape and character of the envelopes at PS and this post just helped immensely with visualising (& not wrecking) how to use my templates properly & tobest effect. Just such a great, little, overlooked tool & resource.

  123. Missy says:

  140. Mel Murray says:

I have always taken wrapping gifts very seriously, in fact, when I was a child I would re-wrap over all the gifts under the tree to ‘improve the aesthetic’! The madness continues into my adulthood as I am the ‘designated wrapper’ among my friends and family who will often beg me to wrap holiday and occasion gifts… much to my delight! “Confessions of a Wrapper” was a great post and further inspired me, and reminded me that sometimes less is more! YAY!

  146. Heather P. says:

B is for Baby that was recently posted was super helpful as I am having my baby shower next month. I realize that only a complete control freak would find a post like that and then firmly request my sister to include a portion of the shower where everyone fills out a page based on a letter in the alphabet so I can go back and put it in a keepsake with other pictures and mementos of the special women in our lives for the baby to have forever! LOVE IT! I only hope my sister comes through ๐Ÿ™‚

  147. MLynn says:

Such a difficult decision, but if I HAVE to make a choice, I’d have to go with the “Confessions of a Wrapper”. From the cute post title to the final wrap, I was inspired from start to finish. The post about the bookworm baby shower was perfect when I was planning my sister’s baby shower as it gave me so many ideas.

My favorite blog post was “Confessions of a Wrapper”!

  166. Courtnie says:

Being a first year teacher this year, I found very little time to be creative and make cards. This lead to a life less vibrant and a realization that in order to feel like my life was full of… well… life, I needed to be creative more often. More than that, I needed new inspiration to get back on the horse. The Artful Paper Creations Workshop in May followed by the Art of Craft: New recipes for DIY cards & crafts blog were the inspiration I needed to feel the color of creative life again. They helped me to make creativity more of a priority in my everyday life.

I was so intrigued by reading and watching the Smash Book post and video on June 15th, that I decided to go to my Paper Source store the next day and get one – or two or three! The store had their own Smash book started on display and it looked so cute and fun that I was even more inspired to start one of my own. To my dismay, they were all sold out and I have been looking out for them ever since! So sad…but I will be much happier when they are back in stock ๐Ÿ™‚

  248. Nicki says:

The Confessionals of a Wrapper was my favorite post. I too love to wrap gifts and now that I have found Paper Source, you can bet I will be using your wrapping for Christmas and upcoming parties! ๐Ÿ™‚

Uh…how about all of them?! But if I have to pick one I’d say the DIY one for the Cozy Snowman card. I’d love to make that one this year.

Congrats on two years and thanks for this opportunity!

My favorite post is a recent one about baby shower games, which was very timely, since I’m hosting one at the end of the month! I’m going to be creating a Daddy Quiz book to share with the parents to be! Thanks for the idea!

I enjoyed the “Ready, Set, Personalize…Staionary in a Snap” post. I have an entire furniture chest filled with stationary, note cards, envelopes, stickers, stamps, etc. It is my little place to go in the house that is all me and I love it!

  252. Molly says:

There are so many, it is hard to choose. But if I had to pick one, it would be the handmade says it best. I make my own cards so I am always looking for new ideas. By the way, happy birthday!

Happy Birthday PS!

I like so many too, but I found the PS Real Weddings Laurel to be very helpful in a project I was working on. My good friend was getting married in Vegas and this was a great source of inspiration.

My fiance and I discovered Paper Source about a month ago for the first time when we were creating our Save the Dates, and now we’re hooked! We’ve been back to our local store several times already, planning out our wedding invitations. I especially liked your Wedding inspiration for the DIY bride post from February, as we are seriously considering the Roses embossed invitations, and love the look of the stamps. Thank you Paper Source!

  263. Lacey says:

My favorite post was the decorated graduation gift-box. The different fonts with the personalized messages made a striking and beautiful gift! I can’t wait to make one myself.

  264. Roshni c says:

Ohh how I love all the posts but being kinda obessesed with anything wedding related I absolutely loved the diy wedding program pos! So amazing & simple to follow & the best part it was wedding related! How can you not love that!? & happy 2 months to the ps blog (:

  265. Debra says:

The taking inspiration from other artists. Helen Musselwhite sparked in me a need to see the world daily through
a camera lens, in person, my dogs eyes. I have been writing thank you cards as it has been a
tough year and a half or more for me and each note I write I want to be special. Nature scenes dominate
and they take time and concentration but, all are made from paper! Different textures and colors
    creating many different natural scenes.
I may not have stumbled upon Helen had you not written about her in your blog. You and Helen, are quite an inspiration.

  266. Simone P. says:

I love the Paper Source! I am a lucky girl that lives between the Annapolis,MD and D.C. stores. I do some many invitations, and greeting cards so I am so grateful to be able to shop in person when I need unique cards and matching envelopes! You are my favorite store!

  267. Mary-Frances C. says:

My favorite was the “Think outside (actually inside) the box” post. I had never thought of sending invites, or packaging anything but gifts in boxes. What a great idea. Love it!

  268. Joanna L. says:

There are so many good posts on the PS blog, but I have to agree with others and say that the handmade says it best. PS always has fun ideas for making your own cards. Thanks for the chance to win more PS money! ๐Ÿ˜› *drool*

I love all of them, but just recently did the 4th of July banner for our party and got lots of compliments!

  271. Ann Marie P. says:

I loved “B is for Baby” I used a similar idea for a friend’s baby shower invites and made actual alphabet blocks. Each guest had to bring a gift that started with the letter on the block they received on their invite! Everyone loved the invitations but they also enjoyed seeing what everyone came up with! Happy Birthday!!!

  272. Nancy L says:

Its hard to choose since I’ve enjoyed and learned from all the post. If I choose just one it would have to be “A lovely companion to a guest book.” Im helping my brother and his fiancรฉ out with their wedding. It’s a small mostly family affair (80 adults-20 children.) so I thought the guestbook /birthday calendar would be a great idea.

  273. Emily says:

Where do I start? I love all the inspiration posts, but I really love the handmade gift section. My craftiness has come a long way since I started tuning in regularly!

  274. susan Fulks says:

my favourite was the “cute as a button” theme, and I have used the theme already for two baby showers….love buttons!!!!! and candy!

  275. Trinidad says:

Even if the occasion doesn’t match mine, I check out the ideas anyway. They often show stunning presentations made up of a few simple pieces. Also, I’m drawn to colors and I find the color combinations just as inspiring.

  276. Janet L. says:

  278. Caitlin says:

I loved the PS Real Weddings: Laura post. I just folded 120 cranes for my own wedding–I can’t imagine making 1300! I had help as well and it was still a lot of work. Thanks for the giveaway!

  279. singelke says:

I really liked Easy DIY holiday decor using PS fall kits
(November 18th, 2010). My mother always had beautiful wreaths hung on the front door of the house I grew up in, and my favorite one was one that celebrated fall. It was a collection of all sorts of nuts, pinecones and leaves, all hues of browns, topped with a big red velvet bow. The wreath in the picture was a nice reminder of that childhood memory, with a twist: the leaves made from old book pages.

  280. Mai says:

Happy Birthday, PS Blog! May there be many more creatively wonderful posts to read in this new blog year.

As for most memorable post, I liked all the DIY ones, like the DIY wedding invitations and party favors.

  281. Sarah says:

Love, love, love to browse your site for new and different ideas for my card line. You have the VERY best supplies for the VERY best DIY projects.

  282. Lindsay says:

I love the post about wrapping gifts!!

  283. Teresa says:

The little flower cup covers are great. They protect your drink from bees and other things flying around. And did I mention how cute they are! And now you can tell which one is your cup. Just jot down your name.

The daisy or lotus kits would make fun cup covers too.
