Print our pattern from your computer to use as a template.
Using a pair of our decorative Fiskars Scissors, cut a 3 1/2" square out of your favorite Paper Source color cover weight paper.
There are three shapes of envelopes you could make: a 2 1/8" square ric-rac envelope, a 1 3/4" x 2 1/2" rectangle ric-rac envelope, or a 2 3/8" x 2" rectangle scallop envelope. Choose the size you wish to make-the directions for each are the same.
Score the 3 1/2" square ric-rac or scallop card as pictured on the template using a bone folder and ruler. Fold. (Note: for the 1 3/4" x 2 1/2" rectangle ric-rac, you may want to fold the bottom tip inside the card-this is indicated by an extra score line on the template.)
Trace the corresponding envelope liner template onto text weight paper. Cut out.
Line up the envelope and the liner together-make scores into the liner based on where the envelope folds exist. Use the bone folder to score.
Run the liner through a Xyron machine, or use a glue stick to cover the entire backside of the liner.
Beginning at the top of the envelope, attach the liner. Smooth any air bubbles out using the bone folder.
To form the envelope, fold the bottom flap up first, then fold in the two sides. Adhere the flaps together with glue or double-sided tape.
