DIY Mermaid Paper Dolls

Mermaid Paper Dolls

Materials

Recipe Tips

Start with our Paper Doll Kit to make these whimsical mermaids! Cut off the legs from the bottom of the paper doll. Use the Mermaid Tail Template and cut out tails using cover weight paper in the color of your choice. Using a 1" hole punch and 2 colors of text weight paper, create scales for the tail. Start at bottom of the tail and alternate rows of colored circles, using a tape runner to adhere circles to the tail. Note: circles should overlap sides of tail. Once complete, turn the tail over and trim off excess circles from the sides of the tail. Use included templates to cut out the top and hair or be creative and create your own shapes! A white Uniball pen is perfect to add detail and accents to your completed mermaid.
