Paper Source Christmas tree

This year Paper Source was lucky enough to be asked to decorate a holiday tree for the Chicago Botanic Garden Wonderland Express exhibit. What a great way to kick off the holiday season! The whole experience was a thrill – we entered the gardens through a secret gate in the dark of night. Arriving at the exhibit space, it was abuzz with the decorating process in full swing. My son, Charlie and I felt like we were underground at Disney World – the behind the scenes magic revealed!

Along with Annie and Claudia, we worked like elves trimming the tree with Paper Chain Garlands, Paper Dove Ornaments, Mini Bauble Ornaments, and topped it all off with a Penguin Tree Topper. With just paper and white lights, our finished tree was lush and beautiful.

It was such fun to see the holiday paper kits brought together onto an 8 foot tree. They certainly looked festive!

If you’re in Chicago for the holidays be sure to visit the Chicago Botanic Gardens to see the Paper Source tree, and enjoy the wonder that nature (and paper) created!
