Adorable! Love this…
Looking forward to trying this out this weekend! I think it’ll be a perfect little gift for a coworker’s birthday – especially if I fill it with some chocolates. Thanks!
This is good stuff! All I know how to do is paper airplanes.
Awesome tutorial!

Candy
This is too cute!!!
I made two of these but altered them a little by splitting the cake in half lengthwide so that it will open up to put something inside like a gift card, candies, jewelry…
This is such a cute idea for parties and showers… love it!
Hello,

How many would you need to make to have a complete cake? This is really cute.
Too cute! I love this and can’t wait to try one out! TFS!
hey joni,
it’ll take 10 slices to go all the way around and make a whole cake. it’s so yummy to look at! i’m thinking of making one for my sister, who’s a chef, just to have displayed in her kitchen.
enjoy!
I also altered this a bit to use as a gift box and stuck a birthday candle through a hole punched in the top. It worked wonderfully as a handle for opening the box, and when lit (for a very short time to keep the wax from dripping) my friend’s “Low Fat Bithday Party” was complete!
So cute!
Thank you for this how-to! I made 8 of the slices and used them on a cake stand for a bridal shower gift. Here are some pictures of the final product: http://thewholeenchelleada.blogspot.com/2011/02/piece-of-paper-cake.html
