Yuzen Fish on Pool Handmade Paper

Japanese decorative papers reflect the superb craftsmanship, design sensibilities and rich variety of the Edo Period (1630 - 1868). Chiyogami papers are characteristically small dense patterns that were originally woodblock prints but are now typically silkscreened.

These charming goldfish in white, orange on a pool background are silk screened in Japan on handmade Kozo paper. It is ideally suited for bookbinding because of its strength and glueability. It is also excellent for origami, collage paper crafts, lampshades and card making.
