Yuzen Purple Blue Floral Handmade Paper

Japanese decorative papers reflect the superb craftsmanship, design sensibilities and rich variety of the Edo Period (1630 - 1868). Chiyogami papers are characteristically small dense patterns that were originally woodblock prints but are now typically silkscreened.

A beautiful mix of blue and purple flowers pieced together in a ribbon-like pattern. It is ideally suited for bookbinding because of its strength and glueability. It is also excellent for origami, collage paper crafts, lampshades and card making.
