Crafting expertise of any level will enjoy this card kit – for it can be used to make both simple and complex cards. Either way, your DIY endeavor will result in wonderful cards to be used when the next birthday bash creeps up on you.

Assemble your cards using any size or color of card you like. Paper Source carries a wide variety of both flat and fold over cards. Choose your die cut shapes and adhere them to the card. To adhere the shapes, we used the Xyron 150 Create A Sticker to turn them into stickers. This machine is great for crafting with kids because it’s fun to use and is an easy clean-up. Double-sided tape or glue can also be used to adhere your die cut shapes. To add dimension to the cards, we used foam squares. This blue “Happy Birthday” card uses two layers of foam squares to make the sentiment pop! Extra embellishments can be added to your card through the use of washi tape, stickers, stamps, or pens. We added a confetti effect to one of our cards using a white Jelly Roll pen.
