This May we are celebrating Cinco De Mayo and marking it our official moment to kick off the summer!  Here are our must-haves for the ultimate fiesta.

We teamed up with local stylist, Elise of @chicfromchicago to help us bring our dream to life and inspire you all to “rock out with your guac out” all season long!

Choosing a Theme

Avocados are having a moment and we are fully supporting this trend with a party.  We had a bunch of great new arrivals we were excited to share and Elise pulled them all together with the perfect theme – “Rock Out With Your Guac Out!”  Having a theme helps to guide the party from invitations to food and more.

Invitations

Having invitations helps to set up the day to run smoothly and lets your guests know what to expect! We love these easy fill-in invitations for a quick get together or something more personal like these colorful custom invites for advanced planning. Custom invitations are the perfect choice for a theme party and with a wide selection of options you can personalize the right one for you!

Find Inspiration

Of course when you think of Cinco de Mayo, you think of margaritas and tacos.  We picked up a copy of Taco Tuesday to find the best recipes for the day!  Not only did we find recipes for tacos, but sauces, dips and more.  Basically, we can have tacos and festive drink pairings at any time of day. We suggest a sweet treat for the road like these Sugarfina margarita or light beer gummy bears. Once the menu is set, decorating and activity planning can begin.

For a full coordinated theme party, we went all out from avocado plates, to balloons to adding a festive llama friend who makes appearances throughout the day.  The party shop has the elements needed for making the day feel festive. Adding an activity to party allows people to mix, mingle and makes for a fun memory.  Our llama craft kit was a simple way to add to do this!
