Paper Source HQ employee Isabelle Parshall shares her passion for hand lettering, Broadway shows and how her hobby has grown into a side gig creating wedding invitations, save-the-dates, place cards, and more! 

"In 2016, I took up hand-lettering after watching countless videos and - honestly, just trying lots of new techniques. I really wanted to put some art on my walls that were lyrics or quotes I loved without paying for them. I started doing weekly Broadway-themed art, as a big theatre nerd, and I've been featured on 2 shows' Instagram pages." 

"When I worked at the Paper Source in Lincoln Park, I taught card making and hand lettering and loved showing customers how to shade, how to make superhero-esque bubble letters, and beyond. I've had countless friends and several strangers hire me to hand letter place cards, save the dates and invites."
