CUSTOM REHEARSAL DINNER INVITATIONS

Every big event requires a rehearsal in order for things to go smoothly, and a wedding is no exception. After a wedding rehearsal, it is traditional to have a celebratory dinner for everyone who was at the rehearsal - bridesmaids, groomsmen, and other members of the wedding party. Set the tone for a fantastic rehearsal dinner with personalized invitations. You can match them to your wedding invitation suite or choose something unique and exclusive just for your wedding party. Your rehearsal dinner invitations should include your names, the date, time and location of the event, the RSVP date and how to RSVP, and any dress code.

Rehearsal Dinner Traditions

Traditionaly, immediate family and the wedding party and their plus-ones are invited to the rehearsal dinner which takes place the night before the wedding, after the rehearsal. It is also common now to invite close extended family and friends that have traveled far for your wedding. Many will also invite the officiant to their rehearsal dinner. The dinner is also traditionally payed for by the groom's family, however, there are now many different ways to split the costs. The rehearsal dinner may contain speeches from the father of the groom or other family members. Some couples may choose to do all of their speeches at the rehearsal dinner rather than the reception but it is up to each individual couple to choose. The rehearsal dinner invitation should be sent separately shortly after the wedding invitations are sent so that guests can plan accordingly.
