Maker Feature

Meet Lindsay,
March’s featured maker and extraordinary creator
Lindsay has been a proud member of Paper Source since 2014 where her love of fine paper-making was ultimately inspired.
Favorite PS color and why?: I have so many favorites, but I gravitate towards Peacock and Papaya the most because they embody the golden orange of the coastal California poppies with a deep blue-green Pacific in the background. The colors conjure good memories and a peaceful place in my mind.
Tools that you can't live without?: I absolutely love the bone folder, envelope liner kits, and lately I have been favoring our punches and plantables to create cards and add embellishments.
Favorite type of creative medium?: Paper Source has inspired a love of working with fine paper, but I do still enjoy working with micron pen on paper and polymer clay as a creative medium.
Favorite PS project you've worked on?: I really enjoy working with our hole punches and plantables to create cards that are also a small gift! I have had so much fun already getting started on cards using the butterfly punch and plantable flowers to start creating cards for spring!

Handcrafted Stationery
If you've ever received a handcrafted card (and we hope you have!), you know there is something especially touching about the experience. If you've never given a handcrafted card, we want to help you make one (and if you have given one before, we want to help you make another one)! Pick your favorite card and envelope colors from our Paper Bar, sign up for a virtual card making workshop (25% off during March!), and check out one of our 3 top card making how-to videos below!
What We're Celebrating
National Craft Month
For 40 years we have been inviting customers to "Do Something Creative Every Day". It could be a quick doodle on a notebook page, a homemade meal, a handcrafted card or a color-coded closet reorganization... there are millions of ways to keep a creativity practice. Whether you already aspire to this, or your creative side is feeling a little dormant, we invite you to join us to do something creative in March. Here are just a couple ways you can participate:
• Make a paper craft with one of our paper craft kits
• Join us for our weekly virtual workshops
• Share your creative projects on social with #papersource #nationalcraftmonth
• Submit your projects on our Community Made form for a chance to be featured

Monthly How‑To

Paper Craft Kit Gallery Walls
We love thinking outside the box when it comes to home décor. In this month's how-to, we're using our craft kits to make a simple gallery wall!
1. Grab 3 assorted picture frames & remove glass
2. Line each frame with decorative paper
3. Build your craft kit elements
4. Adhere your craft to the frame
5. Hang each frame on the wall
Have fun mixing and matching different craft kits to create a unique gallery wall for every season!
Who We're Inspired By

Female Strong®
March is Women's History Month and the perfect moment to share an organization that we at Paper Source have been proud to work with over the last few years. Female Strong® is a non-profit organization driven by a community drawn together with a common purpose: to offer hands-on programs, mentorship, and experiences that build confidence in middle and high school girls, propelling them to become future leaders. They are currently gearing up for their fall Entrepreneurship Program.
"As an all-girls program, this powerful curriculum is also about how to do business, focusing on the principles and values that go into doing business well — communication, business etiquette, accountability, integrity, courage, and perseverance among others. Because as we know, becoming an entrepreneur isn’t for the faint of heart!"

Sustainability
Being Paper Source means we are constantly looking for innovations in the paper making process. See how sustainability practices live within our ecosystem of paper.

Starting at Home
The foundation for all our great products is paper. The majority of our paper – the base for wrap, cards & stationery, stickers and more – is created domestically, which means it doesn’t travel the world to get to you!

Working Together with Responsible Mills & Printers
Our paper is produced with certified mills who practice responsible, sustainable forestry. Our products are often created with post-consumer fiber, renewable energy sources or renewable plant-based materials.

Using Our Paper Wisely
Eco-White, made of 100% recycled content with 30% PCW (post-consumer waste), is the base for all our printed stationery, wrap and more.

Providing a Recycled Line
Our line of exclusive solid colors is made with at least 30% PCW. Our Luxe and Savoy papers are also made with a mix of recycled content and/or cotton, a renewable resource.

Packing with Care
We have redesigned our packaging materials to reduce the amount of corrugate and plastic we use. We continue to look for ways to reduce our footprint through our supply chain.
