Snail mail is back!

Slow down and join us online for a playful virtual workshop celebrating analogue connection and Martina Calvi’s new book, The Art of Snail Mail.

Before the workshop, you’ll receive a set of downloadable printable materials created for the session. Print them at home, grab your scissors, glue and favourite pens, and you’re ready to craft along with Martina.

Together, we’ll cut, collage, sticker, decorate and write our way to a one-of-a-kind piece of mail art for someone you love, a pen pal, or your future self.

Take inspiration from projects in The Art of Snail Mail, play with your printable materials, and rediscover the simple joy of making something by hand - even when we’re crafting together from different parts of the world.

No craft experience or perfect handwriting required. Just come ready to make something worth sending.

You’ll finish the workshop with your own piece of mail art, ready to pop in an envelope and send out into the world.

Martina Calvi is a Sydney-based mixed-media artist, online creator, and bestselling author known for her work in the modern crafting, scrapbooking, and junk-journaling movements.

She is well-known for her books The Art of Memory Keeping, A Year of Junk Journaling and will be releasing her third book The Art of Snail Mail in October 2026.
