April Card of the Month

Craft a thoughtful handmade card for Mother's Day or for any spring occasion. This card features a dainty arrangement of kiss-cut watercolored florals layered onto a 4bar heart shaped flat card. 

Instructions:

Start by painting basic florals onto watercolor paper. Use a variety of colors and different types of flowers.

Once the paint is dry, cut each flower out using scissors or a craft knife. Leave a very thin white border along the edges

1.5" from the bottom tip of a heart-shaped flat card, cut a slit and tuck the stems of your flowers into it, gluing down each flower as you go

Secure the stems in the back with washi tape

Use dimensional foam squares to mount the heart card onto an A2 folded card

Add details like a hand drawn border and a sentiment of choice
