Folded note cards are a traditional type of greeting card. The recipient unfolds the card to reveal the message that awaits them, adding an element of surprise and making the moment even more special. A folded card design also allows the card to stand up on its own, letting you easily display your card.
It is traditional to write on the inside flap of the folded card in order to create the element of surprise for the recipient upon opening your card! If your card has a design on the front, you should start writing at the top edge of the inside flap. If your folded card is blank, you can write on the front and then continue with your message on the inside flap. Once inside the fold, you will either write on the bottom half or right hand side depending on the orientation of your folded note card.
Folded cards can be made out of any size paper! If the paper is big enough to fold, it can become a folded card!
