Bad yarn bad instructions
"The yarn was a very loose spun splitty yarn. This isn’t beginner friendly. Instructions were unclear and skipped many parts. Instructions say to sew squares together but it is a crochet kit. No instruction on which side of the hook to use since the hook is double sided - each side is a different size hook. Advise to buy your own yarn and get a better pattern."
