"I have been following HONY on facebook for awhile now so I was very excited when the book came out. I purchased it before the holidays intending to enjoy it when that hectic time of year was passed. I ended up giving the first copy I purchased as a gift when I realized I had not gotten anything for my brother-in-law. I knew he would love it, and he did! It took a little while longer for me to get my own copy, but it was worth the wait. The pictures are absolutely stunning! A real kaleidoscope of NY. I have been rationing myself to just a few pages a day because this is one book I want to savor. A really remarkable book, a really remarkable photographer."

"I got this book because I follow Brandon Stanton's tumblr and I enjoy seeing the styles and the people in New York. Stanton has brought the real people of the city, not the models and celebrities you see on t. v. and magazines. This is one of my favorite books I have gotten this year and I truly hope he does another and I recommend it to anyone who loves photography. Also follow his Facebook and tumble Humans of New York."
