Easy to follow

"I tried crocheting using a similar kit I found on Amazon; it didn’t work out. The yarn was cheap and the directions may have well been in another language. This kit though, exceeded expectations. Let’s just say you get what you pay for. The step by step videos made learning to crochet a breeze. The yarn feels fantastic and doesn’t fray; it’s very easy to work with. I ended up with Kiki the chick and I added hair. I love it. I’ll buy more of these kits!"

Kit is good, videos not so much

"I have been crocheting for over 30 years. I got this set for my daughter and I am doing one with her and these videos have bits that are terrible. It’s not a how to video of your project but more of a patch work of “basic videos” to get you through. I have seen much better videos on YouTube that go through the whole project. She just came to a section that’s said “make three slip stitches like this” and the instructor just ran through it. No explanation of a slip stitch went to fast to really see. So I helped her. If you are a true beginner there are better ways to learn. Kits are very cute. If you have the basic understanding of how to crochet then these are great. But don’t expect to just send this as a gift and think it’s not going to be frustrating."
