No Seeds
"I bought this at my local B&N, super excited to try it out. I opened my kit and to my surprise, NO SEEDS. Why claim that the kit will include everything you need when it doesn't even come with seeds???"

"Got this in December. Soaked it in water a couple of days longer than I should have. Kept it in fridge to stratify as directed (again a few days longer since I'm very forgetful). Planted 3 seeds in the peat and pot from the kit. Kept it in a ziplock after adding water and left it in window sill. It sprouted a couple of weeks later. But again, forgot about it. Didn't know what to do with the 3 baby trees, so I just checked in on them every once in a while making sure the bag still had moisture. Six months later, just bought some bonsai soil and re-potted one in a ceramic 3 inch pot in June and kept one in the little pot from kit. Keeping it by a bright window. Perhaps my forgetfulness and patience helped a little. Now I just have to read up on how to keep it alive and healthy."
"I received the kit as a gift in March 2020. I carefully followed the instructions, but up to now nothing came out."
"It's a cool idea, but it stops there. I bought two kits and my mother bought two kits. Not a single seed sprouted. Followed the instructions to a T. Maybe we're just unlucky."
"So, two days ago my boyfriend bought me one of these for my dorm room, and the soil and seeds were missing. I decided to read the book before opening the bag of supplies, so, after about 10 minutes of flipping through it, I poured the contents out of the bubble wrap to find: a pair of scissors, and a small pot. Nothing else. This item was shrink wrapped as I bought it, and I removed the plastic myself, so how did the assembly line miss putting in the very things needed to grow my miniature, oxygen giving tree?"
