Founded by Alan HarnikBig Al to many in the industrythe company began with a pushcart at Faneuil Hall Marketplace in Boston after inspiration first found in Madagascar, and grew steadily into a family business just outside Baltimore. Today, Alan and his daughter, Vanessa continue curating greeting cards, stationery, and paper goods from more than 25 publishing partners from the United Kingdom, Europe, and Israel, always guided by the belief that a great card can still stop someone in their tracksand help people say what matters.
