Classy large journal.
"This journal is very large- 9 inches tall by 7 inches wide. It has thick lined/ruled pages. The paper is a light cream/beige color and takes gel pen well. The leather feels nice. The cover does look like a significantly darker brown than in this photo, likely because leather darkens over time. This is a pricey journal, but I it will give me a year or a few years of writing enjoyment. It's made to last after use too. The leather tie is very long so I cut a foot of that off and it's less annoying to wrap the leather tie around it now. The inside of the leather flap is suede-- just in case you have texture issues. The outside leather isn't suede, feels like a penny loafer shoe or a leather purse. This book is heavy so I use it at home or at a desk-- probably not the lightest for a travel journal but looks worldly."
