Best Journal for Me!
"This journal makes goals easy to track and maintain. As a person with ADHD it can be very difficult to stick to tasks that I want to accomplish (or even remembering the tasks at all!), and this has helped me with that. Unlike a lot of the journals on the market there are few bells and whistles here, and you can keep it as simple as you want. For a few weeks I've been keeping a pocket journal and pen on my person throughout the day and jotting down things I need to do/buy, but it's hard to track things long-term like that. In this journal I make a master list of tasks that have been on the back burner for too long, daily tasks (like showering or taking meds), and appointments, and I transfer the ones that need to be done out in the world to my pocket journal so I don't forget them. Then at the end of the day I can cross off the tasks I did and move the ones I didn't do over to the next day - sometimes motivational stickers are involved. If I feel the need to, there's plenty of space to write a sentence or two about how my day went down. In my experience, this pairs beautifully with a pocket book, especially since this book is bulky. Hard to lose, but hard to carry around everywhere! Some of the pages have goals already added to them for a nice little serotonin boost (things like Open Eyes or Daydream) so you can check things off regardless of how little you might have actually done that day. There is an intro that provides instructions to simple bullet-journaling (which I found helpful), and the intro itself is quite motivational. In fact, part of why I chose this specific journal was because I teared up a bit after reading it and the stickers. If you crave lots of boxes to fill in or premade lists to check off you won't find it here, but if you want a monthly calendar with space for goal-crafting, dotted pages that may or may not have added goals or places for stickers, and a basic guide to bullet journaling, then this is the journal for you. This is a really small complaint, but I do find the neon orange accents a little bit blinding at times. Overall I like the look of the journal and I love the functionality of it, I just wish it were a tad more subdued. Like I said it's just a minor thing, and I will say it's less bright than the neon pink accented one they have, so I'll take it!"
