If it is a plated meal, you can list the menu items by course in the order they will be served. If your wedding dinner is served family style, you can list all the food options that will be served at each table. For a buffet style wedding meal, list all the items that will be served at the buffet table.
If you are giving your guests options to choose from for the wedding dinner, then it is a good idea to send the menu with the wedding invitations. A simple check box on the wedding RSVP card will allow them to conveniently send their meal choices back to you.
