Get into the spooky spirit of Halloween by treating yourself to an evening of card making with our large selection of stickers, stamps, washi tape, colorful glitters and paper. Here are four different cards that will surely inspire you to get ghoulishly crafty for All Hallow’s Eve!
Trick or Treat Card
Tools & Materials:
Steps:
1. Mount the Sunshine triangle to the bottom right of the card. Stamp “Trick” at the top and “Treat” at the bottom with the Prima Press stamp in Versamark ink. Coat with black embossing powder and heat set.
2. Stamp the Mint bag shape with the Jack-o’-lantern in Versamark ink. Coat with Tiger Lily powder and heat set.
3. Tape a bit of twine to the back of the bag as shown.
4. Mount the bag to the center of the card with foam squares.
5. Add white dots to the bag with a uniball and color in the Jack-o’-lantern with gelly rolls.
6. Cut a little tag out of scrap paper and stamp “or” on it with a Prima Press in Versamark ink. Coat with white embossing powder and heat set.
7. Make an A2 envelope out of stripe paper and the A2 envelope template. All done!
Halloween Character Card
Tools & Materials:
Steps:
1. Mount the Black panel to the front of the white card with a Tape Runner.
2. Create a window in the top center of the card with the 2 1/4” circle punch.
3. Stamp (or write with Quickie Glue) “Happy Halloween” with the Prima Press or Pegz stamp in Versamark Ink. Coat with white embossing powder and heat set.
4. Mount the Coral panel to the inside of the card and add a face sticker center to the top center (to align with the window).
5. Pair with a Luxe Grey envelope.
P.S. You can use any of the face stickers!
Cat Card
Tools & Materials:
Steps:
1. Stamp the cat in the center of the card with Versamark Ink. Coat with black embossing powder and heat set.
2. Color in the cat’s eyes and ribbon with Gelly Roll pens.
3. Cut a little party hat out of scrap paper and adhere it to the cat’s head with Xyron.
4. Add a strip of washi tape to the bottom of the card.
5. Add accents to the cat’s hat and on the borders of the washi tape with Quickie glue and glitter.
6. Pair with a Papaya envelope.
Moon Card
Tools & Materials:
Steps:
1. Mount the black panel to the front of the Paper Bag card with a Tape Runner.
2. Add Super Tape stripes to the cover.
3. Add “stars” with Quickie Glue and silver glitter.
4. Peel off the Super Tape backing and coat the stripes with black glitter.
5. Punch a 2 1/4” circle out of Silver shimmer. Then take a “bite” out of it with the 1 1/2” circle punch to create the moon shape.
6. Mount the moon to the front of the card with Foam Squares.
7. Pair with a Mint envelope (You can also add a silver glitter liner).
