Postmodern Baby

"This book explains postmodernism to children ages 3 months to 3 years. When a baby hears a mob in the street chanting, White Silence Is Violence, this book explains in step 2 of 9 that it means, Use your words to talk about race. No one will see racism if we only stay silent. If we don't name racism, it won't stop being so violent. Antiracist use of the word violent in this book is postmodern language that originated in late 20th century French philosophy (e. g. the relationship between Platonic forms and real objects is violence). Academic activists extended postmodern meanings of the word violence into identity politics, and this book Antiracist Baby is one result. Parents can learn more from these books: • Cynical Theories: How Activist Scholarship Made Everything about Race, Gender, and Identity — and Why This Harms Everybody (Helen Pluckrose & James Lindsay, 2020) • The War on the West (Douglas Murray, 2022) Tags: Postmodern, Postmodernist, Postmodernism"

Clever presentation

"I bought this book because Ted Cruz used it as an example of what he didn't think should be available to young children. I was curious, so I read it and loved it! What a great way to approach what could be a difficult subject for children."

Nanny Approved!

"As a nanny of 24-years, I recommend this book. It's a great way to teach babies & toddlers about racism and how to be antiracist. I will be reading it will all of my nanny kids & gifting it to others. As for the one star reviews, haters are gonna hate. It's a shame that they are unable to see what needs done to make racism a thing of the past. But, I have faith that we will get there. Keep fighting the good fight, antiracist babies, antiracist parents & antiracist nannies!"

For Those Who Want to TeachTheir Kids to Be Better

"Clearly most of the recent one star reviews stem from trolls who had no interest in the book, it's purpose, or reading it in general. I hate those kinds of reviews that serve no real purpose. That said, if you are in fact looking for ways to create a more equitable society for future generations and make your own child aware of these issues in the process: add this one to your child's book shelf."

Seriously

"The most asinine book I've ever read. This authors world view is skewed beyond belief. I would never read this garbage to my child or anyone's child."

Great book teaching a great lesson!

"I think this book is a great way to introduce the idea of anti-racism to your little one. Ultimately, it is a parent’s decision to decide when this book is appropriate for their child, but it’s an awesome starter."
