"I first bought this book for my own child 25 years ago. She enjoyed the book so much, I've bought it for several little ones in the years since, including my grandchild. It is a bit old fashioned looking, it was when I bought it the first time as well. Very small children don't seem to notice. They're too busy feeling the different textures. It is destructible so it's best used with adult supervision. It's a truly wonderful little first book to read to and interact with your child."
